The Earthquake and DefluxThe Earthquake and Deflux

First off, thanks to everyone for their messages of support and concern and we want to send the love right back to all of friends and family, all of the local businesses we support, and for what it's worth wider Christchurch - it's hard to explain what's happened beyond photos and I think whilst the physical damage is bad it's the uncertainty that's been worse... these aftershocks are fraying nerves!

But the amazing thing has been people coming together and not to sound all Dr Phil on things, but people really have shown their absolute best side. Of course, there's always one guy the police have to mace (see photos)...

Overall, Deflux Plaza seems relatively unscathed and we're working remotely through this week hoping to resume normal transmission in the office making the best C4 coffee this side of C4 from Monday am. We're lucky to work in a predominantly virtual economy, and we're thinking of our friends who's physical location is paramount to business - and as we're central city fans it's particularly heart-breaking to see what's become of Manchester St and the surrounds.

For the rest of the week we're available of email and cell and if you need anything please don't hesitate to get in touch. We are still continuing to work on existing projects as we were last week, rest assured we have all files and the capability to get things done. Plus work is a nice distraction!

We look forward to sitting down with you all over a cup of Krank or a Three Boy's award-winning Oyster Stout and comparing tales... until then take care and talk soon!

The team at Deflux.
