Careers at Deflux

It's always flattering when people say they want to work with us but Deflux are a small team and positions become available very infrequently. That said we are always happy to receive portfolios with a covering letter explaining why you would like to work here, and what you could bring to the table both as a designer and as a person.

Please remember that we do receive many portfolios through the year and are generally quite busy, so please do not be offended if we do not reply to you immediately - we will at our earliest opportunity. PLEASE do not send in a single sided black and white A4 full of spelling mistakes... not to us or anyone else in the industry. We're not completely shallow but this is design after all!

When time is available we're generally happy to meet and talk through your portfolio if you're just starting out. We know what it was like, so we always try and keep the door open and the coffee machine on. But please call or email first so you don't trek up to the fourth floor just to be disappointed because we are all meeting deadlines.

Please also note that a substantial amount of our work is web based, so experience in this area - and particularly knowledge of open source platforms (Drupal) and/ or flash - is a distinct advantage. A passion for online and an engagement with technology and culture at large is a plus.

Due to our size it's not always possible to accept students or work experience or interns depending on the current workload in the studio so please enquire well in advance of your desired work period.
