Christchurch Music Website
The Christchurch Music Industry Trust (Chart) approached us when they needed a complete site overhaul and we were more than happy to help. Music and design go together like, well, coffee and design, so we sat down and explored a new look with a focus on structuring the wealth of content in a logical and user-friendly way. Chart is huge - band listings, gig guide, industry directory, news source, blog and more - so we spent as long working through the architecture as we did with the design which has paid dividends. The site post-relaunch has flourished - it's easily and regularly updated, bands can create their own profiles, there's a RSS driven gig guide, and the site has optimised incredibly well across a range of search terms. It's become a true destination site with at last count 20,000+ unique vistitors (which is over 15,000 more than when we took over) and over 100,000 page views a month. Things are only going to get better and bigger so support NZ music (especially that from the Garden City) and watch this space.
